Cheap Golf Clubs?

Should cheap golf clubs be considered when starting to play golf?

Golf clubs do make a difference in your game and as you progress and have the urge to improve, a good set of golf clubs is most likely going to become a necessity.

Having said that, if you are just starting to play the game or simply play it now and then for fun, cheap golf clubs should not be a problem. You may want to keep expenses for golf equipment in line.

Not to mention beginners. If you are starting out, a good set of cheap clubs will help you get started playing the game to see if you enjoy it. Not everyone who starts golfing decides to take up the sport and if you overspend on clubs, you are going to be one unhappy puppy. :-)

Check around. Look at the classified ads and maybe check out some garage sales. You may be able to pick up a set of gold clubs at a good price. In fact, sometimes the cheap golf clubs you purchased are good clubs that someone just wanted to get rid of.
